I don't recall democrats saying there would be a bloodbath. I don't recall liberals saying, as the head of the Heritage Foundation, Kevin Roberts said the revolution will be bloodless “if the left allows it to be.” I don't recall blue states putting ammunition vending machines in supermarkets, for ultimate convenience, as they are doing in Alabama and Louisiana, other states to follow. I don't recall any president, except for Trump, asking if protesters could be shot. I could go on and on.
Journalists are the military we have who are armed with pens. They try to give us facts that we need, putting themselves and their families at risk either when they are in a war zone, embedded with the troops or living in their own homes. We ignore or don't support the good ones at our peril.
